George Kazazis’ organic compositions materialise a world shaped through the personal gaze of the artist himself. Ivan Lardscbeider's wooden mannequins denote the alienation of modern everyday life, with quirky humour and intense symbolism. Kyriaki Mavrogeorgi derives inspiration from the depths of the unconscious to cast porcelain figures of exceptional elegance that are heavy with allegory. Katerina Mertzani invites the viewer to ponder on the developing stages of her creative process, invoking a kind of visual time. Panagiotis Siagreece balances between representation and abstraction, creating fantastical landscapes that seem both familiar and unknown…
For four consecutive years, Discovery Art Fair Frankfurt presents a wide range of up and coming contemporary art in the financial capital of Germany. Representing one of the leading international art exhibition in Europe, Discovery brings together exhibitors from 5 continents. Similarly, this year, 130 galleries will participate showcasing both established and emerging talent in painting, sculpture, installation, video art. This year's exhibition expands its focus to the fields of photography and urban art, with innovative artworks currently represented by various esteemed galleries around the world.
